Sabine Kühner

Overview
My works encourage the viewer to decipher the visions hidden in them for themselves. In a time of ubiquitous overstimulation and losing oneself, my paintings lead the viewer to their own aliveness and an awareness of what life is all about.
Sabine Kühner is a German artist known for vibrant abstract and figurative paintings. She studied under Markus Lüpertz at the Academy of Fine Arts Kolbermoor, earning her Master’s in 2019. Her expressive, color-rich work explores the human figure and landscape, and has been exhibited widely in Germany and abroad. Notably, she received an award for her public installation 58 und ich in Holzkirchen. In 2024, Kühner completed a residency at Mana Contemporary in Jersey City, sponsored by the Eileen S. Kaminsky Family Foundation.
