Zahra Holm
My artwork is a tribute to the essence of femininity; a modern female-focus, bringing forth a question of beauty ideals, body shape, and gender. Abstract shapes and curvaceous lines, expressing their feelings, telling their stories.
Zahra Holm is a Swedish-Tunisian contemporary artist based between Stockholm and Paris. With a background in scenography and set design, Holm developed a strong understanding of space and form that informs her abstract paintings. Her work explores femininity, beauty ideals, and the female form through bold colors and curvaceous lines. Inspired by women, nature, and light, she draws influence from artists like Helen Frankenthaler, Sonia Delaunay, and Henri Matisse. Expanding into ceramics and sculpture, Holm continues to explore new mediums while exhibiting her work internationally.
