Artist Talk

Art Talk: Rob Ventura

Meeting: Thursday, October 17 @ 6-7 PM

Location: Kelly-McKenna Gallery, 1308 Third Avenue, Spring Lake, NJ

About the Artist: Rob Ventura is a mixed-media artist whose work captures the interplay between natural patterns and mathematical beauty, blending organic forms with elements of the Golden Ratio and Fibonacci sequence. His art includes painting, drawing, sculpture, and photography, with themes inspired by the natural world, such as microbes, honeycombs, and flowers.

On October 17, Ventura will be hosting an Artist Talk at Kelly-McKenna Gallery to discuss his latest exhibition, Spira Mirabilis: Logarithmic Spirals in Nature. During this talk, Ventura will delve into his creative process, explaining how he draws on scientific concepts to create artworks that explore the underlying order of the universe. This is an opportunity for attendees to gain deeper insight into Ventura’s inspirations and the significance of his work.

The Artist Talk offers a unique chance to hear Ventura discuss his fascination with the interconnectedness of all living things, as well as his journey as an artist who bridges nature and abstraction.
